Kshatriya is the new solo venture from guitarist/songwriter/producer Dino Bose. Years ago, performing as Professor Vast, he was one of the first in the L.A. scene to perform Live P.A.’s exclusively. He was the first LIVE PA at the infamous underground cave hangout which partied under the name Actionsound (of which the early Suicide Girls were regulars). He played 2 shows for Green Galactic’s Twine weekly at the Alterknit lounge of the Knitting Factory as well as the electroclash/electronic club Transmission in West Hollywood...Never once forgoing the originality in favor of compromising for the status quo.

After going into self-imposed music production exile, he has now re-emerged to start playing live dj’ing and live PA sets again under the name Kshatriya (sha-tree-yah) – the word is the Indian Sanskrit name for the warrior caste to which he was born - the sets will feature dance and ambient tracks from his own EP Learning to Breathe as well as tracks from his upcoming CD. Dance like mad, lose your mind, space out, relax and enjoy a ride to the moon where the party never ends….why should it?
